Chatting with Sarah Dyke - MP for Glastonbury and Somerton

Sarah Dyke on the green beches of the UK Parliament

Sarah Dyke is inspiring - and, when she became an MP, she was only the 562nd woman ever to have been elected to parliament. Now that, is a jaw dropping statistic!

This International Women's Day, Jenna chats with Sarah about her journey to representing her community and what it's like as a woman in politics.

We cover everything from growing up in and around the county, to Imposter Syndrome, the challenges facing women in farming and agriculture, and what it's like amplifying our voices on the benches in the House of Commons.

We also chat about a special event happening in Wincanton on International Women's Day... and we talk sheep! Jenna and Sarah both love them, and Sarah might just have unintentionally found herself with a flock!!

Grab a cuppa and half an hour to hear a warm, honest, and fascinating conversation between two women genuinely interested in people and place.
